Get Bitten

Sjpbitten I don't know about you, but with "Sex & the City" long gone, I was starting to have some serious SJP (as in Sarah Jessica Parker) withdrawals. Luckily, SJP is back and hotter than ever. This week, she launched her first-ever apparel line--BITTEN--sold exclusively at Steve & Barry's. The tagline says it all, "Fashion is Not a Luxury, It's a Right." We know, SJP, we're just glad the industry is catching up.

Last week on "Oprah," Parker unveiled her collection to the masses showing off a gaggle of pencil skirts, tank dresses and eyelet shorts. Two words: super cute. The collection is simple and stylish, yet classy. The real buzz, though, is the price. Check this out, every item is under $19.98. That's right, women the world over can emanate SJP for less than $20. How cool is that? By August, BITTEN will release 500 apparel and accessories items for women of all sizes, up to XXL in tops and 22 in bottoms. Good thing, I was worried that SJP's new line might only be for the emaciated girls of Hollywood. She's embracing real women--how refreshing! In addition to her tagline, the BITTEN Web site contains the SJP manifesto: "It is every woman's inalienable right to have a pulled together, stylish, confident wardrobe with money left over to live." Amen, sista.
